Services Provided by the Manager

  • Monitoring the performance of the Portfolio Manager;
  • Managing relationships with custodian, registrar and transfer agent, auditors, legal counsel and other organizations or professionals serving the Fund;
  • Monitoring the ongoing suitability of the investment strategy to meet the Fund's investment objectives;
  • Preparing accounting and management reports, including interim and annual reports and tax reporting;
  • Calculating and paying monthly distributions;
  • Overseeing and paying monthly and annual redemptions;
  • Managing the issuer bid;
  • Obtaining and managing bank financing;
  • Ensuring the Fund complies with regulatory requirements and listing requirements of the TSX; and
  • Maintaining the website and communicating with investors on any other matters that may arise.
The management fee is 0.90% of net asset value per annum which includes the fees paid to the Portfolio Manager.
