Fund Mergers
At a Special Meeting held on June 9, 2008, unitholders of Brompton Advantaged Tracker Fund, BG Advantaged S&P/TSX Income Trust Index Fund, BG Advantaged Equal Weighted Income Fund, Brompton Top 50 Compound Growth Fund and BG Advantaged Corporate Bond Fund approved an extraordinary resolution to merge the funds into Brompton Advantaged VIP Income Fund. The reorganization of the Funds was designed to proactively address the uncertainty concerning the future of income trust investments resulting from the Federal government's October 31, 2006 decision to tax income trusts.
