At a Special Meeting held on June 9, 2008, unitholders of Brompton Equal Weight Oil & Gas Income Fund approved an extraordinary resolution to change the investment mandate and the name of the Fund to Brompton Oil & Gas Income Fund. The reorganization of the Fund was designed to proactively address the uncertainty concerning the future of income trust investments resulting from the Federal government's October 31, 2006 decision to tax income trusts.
