Arthur R.A. Scace

It is with deep sadness, that we at Brompton Funds, honour the memory of our friend and colleague Arthur Scace, who passed away suddenly at the age of 81. Art spent over 33 years at McCarthy Tetrault and was an accomplished and highly respected tax lawyer and provided leadership as the firm’s managing partner and national chairman.   In 2003, Brompton was fortunate to have Art join Brompton’s Board of Directors as an independent board member.  His role eventually evolved to become a founding member of Brompton’s Independent Review Committee and an independent board member of Eclipse Residential MIC.  Art was instrumental over the past 17 years in helping shape our investment product offerings based on his deep understanding of the capital markets.  Art’s friendship, mentorship, integrity and wise counsel will be sorely missed.  The Brompton team wishes our sincerest condolences to his loving wife Susan and the Scace family.
