Michael D. Clare

Michael Clare has over 18 years of experience in financial services and is a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager with Brompton Group. Mr. Clare is a member of Brompton’s portfolio management team and is a co-manager of investment funds at Brompton with combined assets of over $2.4 billion. He specializes in portfolio construction, security analysis, and covered call strategies with a focus on technology, health care, financials, energy, global equities, and low volatility strategies. Prior to joining Brompton in 2012, Mr. Clare was a portfolio manager at Creststreet Asset Management Limited. He previously worked for Deloitte & Touche LLP as a manager in the assurance and advisory practice. Mr. Clare is a CFA charterholder and is a member of the Toronto CFA Society. He is also a Chartered Professional Accountant and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. He received an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University.
